Description
Presenting Noise and Vibration Control Products:
PAC International’s RSIC-WHI® is a precisely manufactured product that is made to meet the needs of applications requiring suspended drywall ceilings made of concrete, steel, or wood. Between the structural elements and a drywall grid ceiling or CRC (Ceiling Resilient Channel) and hat channel ceiling, this creative isolator is put mid-wire. The RSIC-WHI is a flexible option, providing a range of acoustical design load values from 30 to 220 lbs per isolator.
Applications:
– Suitable for buildings made of wood, steel, metal, and concrete.
– Perfect for commercial buildings, retail spaces, shared living areas, apartments, condos, recording studios, home theaters, commercial theaters, office buildings, and conference rooms.

Material Composition:
The aluminum-zinc coated steel used to make the RSIC-WHI clips is either galvanized or proudly MADE IN USA. Rubber compounds that are synthetic or natural are used to make the RSIC rubber isolators. The clever design of the hanger assembly bracket permits the suspension member to be oriented vertically up to fifteen (15) degrees without causing metal-to-metal contact between the hanger assembly components and suspension. An inherent isolation insert that has been thoughtfully chosen and positioned to support the stated weight is a feature of the strategically designed RSIC-WHI. The hanger assembly consists of a top and bottom wire loop that are isolated by an isolator, and at full published load, the isolation hanger can deflect up to ¼” (6mm).
Technical Data:
– Conforms to ASTM E90: Standard Test Method for Laboratory Measurement of Airborne Sound Transmission Loss
– Conforms to ASTM E413: Classification for Rating Sound Insulation
Environmental Considerations:
Rubber RSIC fittings are recyclable, and the RSIC-WHI could earn LEED points. Less than 10% of the steel used in the product is recycled, in compliance with fire life and safety rules.
