Description
Good acoustics in an office setting, educational facility, or commercial space promote tranquility, which enhances our general well-being on a daily basis. Underperforming Acoustical Environments Have a Negative Impact on Learning, Productivity, Safety, Health, and Communication.
With a broad selection of high-performing acoustic ceiling products, HGR creates an aesthetically pleasing environment, exceptional acoustic performance, and overall comfort.
HGR Contoured Linear Baffles, also known as Acoustic Baffles, are an excellent non-intrusive architectural solution for adding sound absorptive treatment to any given space. Unlike standard ceiling grid and tile systems, these baffles only partially conceal the structural and/or finished ceiling. In addition to offering design flexibility, the possibility to suspend sound-absorptive treatment as baffles from the structural and/or architecturally-finished ceiling enables a multitude of acoustic solutions relating to the architectural design.HGR Contoured Linear Baffles are an affordable and practical solution for a variety of applications. They are best suited for larger, noisier spaces like gymnasiums, schools, indoor pools and aquatic centers, lobbies, restaurants, dog kennels, churches, open office environments, and much more. Acoustic sound absorptive baffles are intended to be suspended vertically, maximizing the exposed surface area of the treatment.
HGR Contoured Linear Baffles come in conventional sizes of 12′′ (1′) x 96′′ (8′) at 2′′ thick, although they can be manufactured up to 8′ long and 4′ broad. There are several ways to hang the baffles vertically: direct-glued to the structure, c-channel, and the most widely used aircraft cable from corkscrew hangers. You may get them in 100% melamine foam or, for high-abuse regions, have an 11 lb/ft, 1/16′′ layer of impact-resistant fiberglass board covered front and back. Then, you can wrap it in any breathable, acoustically-transparent fabric that you like, like Carnegie, Maharam, or Guilford of Maine.
At HGR Acoustics, we are aware that your architectural space must smoothly accommodate acoustic products. For this reason, we provide a wide selection of styles, dimensions, and nearly every color imaginable to meet your architectural requirements.
