The 28-ounce tubes of **OSI Green Series SC-175 Draft and Acoustic Sound Sealant** are available separately. This non-flammable, latex-based sealant has been carefully designed to solve draft and sound transmission issues in a variety of wall systems that call for sound-rated assembly. It is paintable, flexible, and clings firmly to a variety of building materials, including concrete, drywall, wood, and metal studs.
Because of its versatility, OSI Green Series SC-175 Sealant can be used for both residential and commercial restoration projects. It can be used in exposed and unexposed regions, such as veneer plaster systems, gypsum board cutouts, floor and ceiling runners, perimeter connections, and other places where sound-rated assemblies are required. When used around electrical boxes, outlets, cold air returns, HVAC ducts, and equipment that penetrates wall surfaces, this sealer also improves acoustic performance.
